Our last day in Romania, we went to a big mall in the downtown Bucharest. Before shopping, we put our packages at the host school, it was so kind of their headmaster to let us do it. When we were about to leave, we saw some Spanish delegates standing outside, they told us they were going to visit the parliament of Romania, it was so lucky for them to check the inside of it.
Our teacher gave us free time to shop and have lunch, and we had to leave in the afternoon. I decided to shop alone because it allowed me to have enough time checking the whole mall. I went to Zara and got a pink shirt first, and then I bought jeans and a T-shirt at New Yorkers, they were all I bought for clothes in the mall. The brands in the mall were similar with the ones in Taiwan, there were high-level, popular, and also sports, it really didn’t look quite different with Taiwan’s. I ran into some friends at lunch time, we spent some time to seek for the last meal in Romania, eventually, we pick the simple one, though it was little expensive. While eating, I saw a box of Romanian chocolate on the table, so I asked one of my friend where to buy, then I knew there was a supermarket in the mall, thus, I soon headed to the chocolate area in the supermarket, then, I felt I got a rock in my bags, and the bad almost got separated later, I think I spent much more than any other members of our group. After a crazy shopping, I and some members sat in the coffee shop and waited for the gathering time, some used that time to write the postcard, some were chatting, as for me, I used that time to enjoy myself in the last minutes we stayed in Romania.
We took the railway to the host school to get our packages, the school sent someone to drive us to the airport, when were going to leave, I gave my last presents-Chinese fans, to the general secretary and one of our supervisors, then we said goodbye and kept waving hands until the bus drove away. Along the way to the airport, I keep watching the view outside the window, just wanted to capture the last scenes in Romania.Arriving the airport, we quickly headed to the counter, but we still waited for a long time. When it was almost my turn, something happened, I found that my customs declaration was gone, I almost got crazy, I soon call our supervisors for help, then she took me to the police officer hundred miles away, we ran to there while my heart was beating heavily, because it was just half an hour away before boarding, I prayed when the police were tackling, thank God, they allowed me to go, this is the unfortunate great good fortune. I kept appreciating supervisors for helping me in this emergency then we said goodbye to each other. I ran to the terminal, when I arrived, I found that no one was there, thus I immediately texted to our members, they told me they were waiting for me outside the terminal, and they would come in and we gather, when I saw them, I felt like I finally could go back home safely.
When the plane was about to take off, I kept watching outside the window, the grass, the airport, and the city, I knew we were going home, and I know I would never forget this place-Romania.
Thank you, Romania, for bringing me such an unforgettable memory.
