A station I would never forget
The driver of a railway was so kind, one day, when we were far away the platform, the was a train entering the station, we knew it was impossible for us to get it at the time. However, we saw the train was there for some time, we realized it may be waiting for us, thus, we started running, fortunately, we all got on the train in the end.

One day away the conference, our supervisors first took us to the sponsored school to regisiter, and then we headed to the old city of Bucharest to have lunch and visited monastery, church, and the most modern library in the world, at the end of the day, we went to the department store nearby to get some supplies and snacks, and of course, went shopping as well, it was quite a wonderful day.
First schedule of all, we took the railway to Piata Iancului( the station we would go for five days), and took a ten minutes walk to the sponsored scho-ol, when we arrived, there were some students waiting in front of the gate, which was hung lots of flags on it, and we were indicated to put down our stuff at a meeting room, then, we finally got our badage and the conference handbook, it pretty was cool seeing my profile picture on the badage, inside the book, there were Bucharest's map and the conference document, the happiness is the only word coming out of my mind when I got it. After that, we took a group photo at the basketball, while some of students were playing soccer, made me have a little desire to join them. Then we took a brief look toward the campus, which is not so big for the a university, still, it was pretty different from ours, threre were more exguisite decorations and classical collections, I was glad to have the conference there.
Our second stop, was old city. We first visited an opera, in the middle of the square, there was a pillar singed "KM 0" on it, supervisors told that was a significant remark in Bucharest, and we got into the opera, it was a liitle unfortunate there was no show on that day, but we still had a great time there. There were lots of beautiful decorations, thought I couldn't understand most of theirs meanings. We also vistied the theater, it was pretty pretty, although there was no show, we enjoyed the live chore performance, you may ask me how come, cause one of our mamber was at chore club in our school, we all pushed him to the stage and did a little performance, then, surprisingly, he sang, with his beautiful voice, I didn't move my eyes away for a single second, I listened very carefully, it was just a wonderful performance, I thought this must be the most unforgettable show for him. Before leaving the opera, we still had a imoprtant thing to do- practicing the peformance of the closeing ceremony, we practiced at the gate of the opera, it was lucky that just few persons saw us, well, was it lucky? I don't know actually. Then we went to the a larger square, in fornt of it was an university, and a naional bank standing beside, again, we chose it as a place to practice dancing, but this time, we attracted most of people in the square, somehow, instead feeling embarrased, I danced much more energetic and enjoyablely, that square could not have been more suitable stage for us. After losing some energy, we strolled at the street of the old city, although we were in old city, I felt there was not old at all definetely, the building standing at sides were elegance and grandeur, as I saw a sushi restaurant, I understood that everything could happen in Romaina. We stopped at the gate of naitonal bank, the was a glass construciton in the front of it, beneath it was a hole, we were all curious about what was going on there, then our supervisors told us this buliding was increasing annually, meaning the hole down there was the original of the bottom of the bank, but resulted from the extrusion crust, the ground kepting rising and became higher than hundrens of years ago. We visited a monastery and a church before having lunch, it was fortuantely that the monastery was open that day, we I hadn't seen monastery in Taiwan, so I was impressed by the silent atmosphere and the exiqusite of the building as well, we slowed our steps and enjoy the wonder of the silenc under the beautiful celing, I sat down, and prayed for the safty, it was wonderful talking to God there. Along the way to the church, we passed the comedian cinama, it was pretty rare to see that in Taiwan, I really wanted to go in and enjoyed the show, however, we time limited, I could not go. Then we arrived at a majasic church, there was a garden, and the decorations were much bigger than the ones in monastery, again, I closed my eyes, and prayed for the tresure of the journey. Leaving the church, we eventually could have lunch to fill up our stomache, the restaurant-Lipscani Carul Cu Bere, was advised by our supervisors, it was said to be the most traditional restaurant in old city, when we walked into it, the music played by the violin players immediately appeal me, there were four women playing the violins, and all of them had a excellent skill, it was wonderful to have this kind of musical feast while eating the big course. It took us some time to order, casue the menu was a little bit complicated, eventhough there was English letters on it, we couldn't recongnize easily, it really bothered us ordering. After ordering, I and some of our members went to see the downstairs, we found out there was a wine room, we didn't stay for too long, cause our course had been on the table, I quickly satrted eating the potato beside the pork, I like it so much, thus, I ate some of my friends', it was great they didn't mind. While we were enjoying our meal, we heard people at the table near ours were celebrating something, I saw a madam standing at the center, surronded by roughly five persons, on the table was a cake covered with cream, then, people started sing happy birthday while spark was popping out from the center of the cake, somehow, our members began joining the celebration one after one, eventually, the celebration became a much bigger one, when the song ended, the, madam turned to us and gave us a big smile, I could merely saw the tears in her eyes, she seemed pretty enjoyable and apreciated, as for me, I was touch and moved at the moment, after all, people always feel happy when share with others, doesn't we? When we left the restaurant, the violin players still make the music alive, and seemed it was endless, and echoing...
Our first schedule in the afternoon was H and M, a clothes store, there was not any H and M store in Kaoshiung then, thus, we were all fascinated by the store, we spend half an hour there, maybe this was a little long for a boy, so our ambassador of the conference used that time to practice his opening speech, just at the gate of the store, quite interesting, wasn't it? I didn't buy any clothes then, but I was a bit regreted later, me and my friend went back to buy some clothes for us when our group were in departement store nearby to have dinner and bought some supplies, I think we made a right decision. Our second stop was the library boasting the one of the most modern library in the world, it didn't disappointed us at all. Our teacheres gave us lot of time checking it out, so we can enjoy there with a relaxing pace. When I walked into the liberary, I felt the majesty of the building, and the exquisite carve of it, what I could felt the most was the leisurely atmosphere surronded by the books and the people. I first went downstairs, there was the music area, I saw lot of CD which I am familiar with, and some local mucis as well, to my surprise, near the music area, there were some comic books laying in the cabinet, and I saw Japanese comic such as Naturo and One Peace, I was totally surprised by this, I used to think Romanian didn't like that kind of thing. Then I went to the scond floor, third floor, and finally reach the top of the building, on the top was a cafe, I thought drinking coffee while reading my favorite book must be the most wonderful thing in the world, unfortunately, that was in my dream. I stayed at the first floor most of time, I found some intersting post cards, after realizing the meaning of sentene on the card, I put them into my basket, I also bought some magnets and calendar for the souvenirs, and a large bages written with " I love big books, and I can't lie" on it, unfortunately, I didn't get the tourist guide of Bucharest, casue our teacher had taken only one of it in the library. Then, we walked to the department sotre nearby, along the way standing a Thor' axe, so we an abundant of pictures with differnt poses, I think passerbys must thougt we were crazy. Our teacher gave us some time time to have dinner and get soem supplies in the department store, thus, as I mentioned before, I and one mambers left and quickly arrived at the H and M we had visited previously, it took us some time to pick the clothes, fianlly, the one with"Nobody cares in NewYork" attracted me the most, and I even practiced Romanian when paying, if my memory served me well, I remembered the clint said my pronounciation was great. When heading back to the departmemt store, we soon decided to eat at Macdonald, the menu was pretty similiar with ours, so it didn't take us much time to order, we got to the gather point on time, and I finally could relaxed for a while.
When we were about to go back to the hotel, the rain started dropping from the sky, it was a liitle bit inconvenient for us to wear rainsuits or took out the umbrellas, however, it would not brush away my wonderful time at old city.
