Eventually, it was the time for the conference, which lasted for five days. We went to the national library to attend the opening ceremony, we walked along a river band to get to the library, according to one local delegate, the library was a new one, I could tell because it was nearly empty inside. The opening ceremony lasted for almost three hours, there were guests speaking, opening speeches of ambassadors, and the Q and A session, lots of interesting things happened, however, I would like to choose a particular one to share with you, that was about the delegation of the USA. During the ceremony, one of the USA delegate stood suddenly while raising his placard, then said" The delegate of the USA doesn't see his country flag on the stage, so we tended to leave the house" finished speaking, a line of the USA delegation left the seats and, took the selfie beside, it must be the coolest scene I had ever seen in the conference. After the ceremony, we visited a UN exhibition, there were abundant of UN documents, besides, there were some retired UN delegates introducing and share their experiences with us, especially, we talked to a retired delegate of Venezuela in the Security Council, then we asked a sensitive question"Will Taiwan go back to UN, and what could we do?"he answered c"Nobody knows when Taiwan will go back to UN, but your generation have a big opportunity" I think this answer was right in some of the degrees. Then we left the library and discussed what was our next plan. Finally, we all agreed to check out the Palace of the Parliament first and go back to the hotel, cause we had an informal meeting in the afternoon. We walked for almost half an hour to the Palace of the Parliament, the second biggest building in the world. Unfortunately, we didn't reserve for the visit, so we could just see outside the building, though, it was fascinated, standing in the front of it, would make you feel the smallness of yourself. When we went back, we stopped at Starbucks and a bakery, I bought the same drink as I drink in Taiwan, but I didn't get the city cup, it was taken by our teacher, at first, I spent a little money to have some bread, it was too cheap to ignore it. We took a brief rest at the hotel, then headed to the host school to attend the informal meeting. I initially didn't understand the purpose of the meeting, but I knew later. Out committee- Human Rights Council, was in a classroom, we have delegates from seven countries, of course, the majority was Romanian, the president let us introduce ourselves first, I wore the jersey of German national soccer team, so when my turn, I told them you could tell which country I represented through my T-Shirt, it seemed they all understood what I meant, especially for the two German guys sitting in front of me, they turned around and sent smiles to me, I felt like, I did a perfect I introduction. After everyone's introduction, the president announced that would be an informal meeting later, the taken place would be the club, I was shocked and worried at the same time, shocked at the first time to be in club in my life, worried about the teacher would not let us go, fortunately, our teacher allowed us to go but we had to leave earlier, thus, we walked to the club, along the way, we used time to chat with other delegates, although I was little shy at the beginning, I really got to know each of them along the way. At the club, choosing the beverage bothered me a lot, I worried about I might get drunk, so I choose a cup of juice, to my surprise, the drink came to me was RUM, a strong one, I think there must be some misunderstanding when I told to delegates, it didn't matter, though, I left just a little bit of it when I left, I didn't join their game, I just sit outside and chat with some of the delegates, I was pretty enjoyable while sitting at the club, and had somebody to talk, it was definitely a fresh memory for me. We stayed at the club for nearly one and half hour, our president took us to the gathering place, I was little tired then, but I was excited, looking forward to the approach of the conference.

Time to get back

Everyday morning, we sat in the restaurant of Hello Hotel and enjoyed delicious breakfast. I always got lots of fried eggs, while had some local food-potato as well, of course, bread and bum were essential to a breakfast, and I would also make a cup of coffee added some mike, then I would walk to the refrigerator to get a small cup of yogurt, it really woke up my stomach. I miss that breakfast, indeed.

The breakfast which we ate for five days

At Lunch time, the staffs of the conference would take us to the restaurant nearby by, and it would soon be occupied by the delegates, it was a great time for us to chat with others, the table always filled with our laugh. The meals were quite different in four days though there was always potato, it seemed Romanian had fallen in love with potato. Inside the disk of our last meal in the restaurant, there was familiar food-rice, it tasted great, but it was our only chance to have rice in Romania.

So sweet~

Rice was rare in Romania

Dessert~so sweet!!!

The time in the conference was wonderful, it was quite different with the one in Taiwan, in Romania, we had more laugh and fun. In entertainment time, those who violated the rule of the conference would be punished, like danced with weird music or sang a song, in other committee, you could see more excited one though it was called punishment, it was the most enjoyable time in the conference. Besides, we also had a funny debate, which would be filled with eccentric ideas in the end, but that was just for fun. I knew lots of friends came from different countries, I wrote cards to every delegate in our committee, and I also brought some Taiwan souvenirs such as pen apple cake and Chinese fans, all of they said pen apple cake was tasty, I felt honorable as a Taiwanese.

Guess what?!? They were practicing Dancing for the closing ceremony

Gara de Nord, the main train station of Bucharest.

At the last day of the conference, we had a party, this time, was a formal one. Again, I used to think our teacher won't let us go, fortunately, she said we could go but we had to leave earlier, it didn't matter at all. We took the railway to the club when coming out from the basement, we saw a big rainbow just in front of us, hanging above the palace, so lucky we could see such a breathtaking view in the urban area, and without a doubt, it took us some time to take beautiful pictures. There had been lots of people when we arrived, and we waited for checking, I was a little nervous then, cause that was my first time to attend the "real"party, but when I came into the party room, the feeling had gone. All I felt was so fresh, and exciting as well, the light was so great, the tone of music was compelling, in short, the atmosphere was wonderful. Because we were under 18, we could only have juice, but it didn't matter at all. We soon got into the party time, it seemed all of the delegates were familiar with the party, they all waved their bodies heavily and danced with the music. As the strangers, we spent some time to get involve, eventually, everyone made a circle while with two hands in the air, eventually, we were all exhausted but still excited, and it was by the time we should leave. While we told others delegated we have to leave, I could tell they were little disappointed because we really had a wonderful time together.

When we got back to the hotel, though my bodies told me that he needed a rest, I still sat at the desk and started writing the cards to each delegate...

Discussing the strategy

Besides the conference and the party, we also had basketball time, it was so lucky that we could join. I and the tallest delegate from Greece were on the same team, so I thought we could take this, unfortunately, there was a stronger guy in our opponent, after the four quarter intense fight, we lost

However, I didn't feel any of disappointment, instead, I felt satisfied, cause I never had experiment playing with foreigners, this time, I did it.

Our committee was a unique one, cause we even spent some time making a film for the closing ceremony, although the film didn't show up in the closing ceremony, it became our memories eventually. To make the film, we had to learn three dance from different countries, Greece, Spanish, and Romania. It was quite fun that I never think about learning to dance in the conference, then I realized, dancing was the necessity for a conference.

Make a circle, and Dance

Greek Style

Closing Ceremony

The delegation of Germany

At the closing ceremony, there was a performance by each committee, and the performance by participated school, and also invited groups. I think both of my school and committee did a great job, when I heard the applause came from the audience at the ending pose, I knew all of our efforts came to value, and I also realized it was the time to say goodbye. I didn't give out all of the cards I wrote, cause some delegates had left earlier when I gave my cards to everyone, I told them we must meet in the future, no matter where, when, and why, we would meet whatever.

I was sad at the moment, my tear had nearly dropped out from my eyes, we gave each others a big hug, they still had a party after the closing ceremony, but we couldn't go this time, so it was a "GoodBye"for us, we kept waving hands until they were out of our sights.

I really gained lots of things through this conference, I knew lots of friends came from the different corner of the world, and my view was boarded through the conversation with them, the most important of all, I think all the memories there would be an invisible fortune in my life, and last for eternity.
